The base yarn is 100% non-superwash Bluefaced Leicester. It was prepared and spun in Yorkshire and dyed in Dorset. The yarn is soft and has a shine from the natural lustre of Bluefaced Leicester wool.
This yarn is suitable for all sorts of projects including garments and accessories. Most people would be comfortable wearing this wool next to their skin. It is not recommended for socks.

The yarn has not been superwash treated so requires gentle hand washing unless you intend for it to felt. Due to the dyeing process no two skeins are identical.
